The U.S. truck market historically has been dominated by General Motors, Ford, Dodge and other domestic manufacturers. But do American truck buyers have a worthwhile reason to look abroad when searching for a new pickup?
The 2017 Nissan Titan makes an interesting case. The V-8-powered pickup comes with single or crew cab options, plus a variety of unique features in the bed and on the interior. It’s not cheap, as the Platinum Reserve edition we drove around checks in at more than $55,000, even though it sports power comparable to other trucks in its segment.
BestRide’s Craig Fitzgerald joined NESN Fuel for an opportunity to drive the new Titan and explore everything it has to offer.
