Since its inaugural season, Formula E has prided itself on being innovative and futuristic. And for Season Three, the electric single-seaters will look even more revolutionary than before.

Formula E preseason testing kicked off Monday at Donington Park in Derby, England, giving us the first look at the Season Three cars. Although, the monocoque is the same as in previous seasons, the cars will all feature a redesigned front wing that looks like it’s straight out of “The Jetsons.”

As is the case with the previous front wing, the new one will have end-pieces to redirect air around the front wheels. The new wing, however, has two planes, which according to Current E, won’t significantly change the aero of the cars.

The racing in Formula E is already spectacular, and with better looking cars Season Three is shaping up to be the series’ best yet.
