Earnhardt will head into the new year as a married man, but it appears he won’t have a ring on his finger. Prior to getting engaged, the NASCAR driver said on “The Dan Patrick Show” in 2015 he has a Jewelry phobia, then admitted the following day it kept him from popping the question.
“I’ve told her my phobia and let her choose what she wanted to do,” Earnhardt said, via NBC Sports. “We’ve talked about it. I’m not going to be held accountable (for wearing a ring), and she can do whatever she wants. I figure if we ever get to that step in life, I owe her that much. I’ll have to put up with that.”
Congrats to the happy couple.
