People who buy a sports car most likely dream of taking it to a racetrack. Starting with the 2017 model year, Cadillac is making that dream a reality for those who purchase an ATS-V or CTS-V sedan.

At no extra cost, Cadillac is offering anybody who buys one of its two performance sedans a two-day lesson at its V-Performance Academy at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Nevada, Car and Driver reports.

Included in the excursion is transportation from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, a two-night stay in the condos at Spring Mountain, meals and the on-track instruction. During the instruction, attendees will complete steering exercises, practice on the skid pad, drive a slalom course and try lapping the circuit.

At the academy, owners will be required to drive the model that they purchased, but anybody who chooses to pay their own way to attend, will be allowed to chose from either the ATS-V or CTS-V.

For those who are unable to attend the two-day lesson at Spring Mountain, Cadillac will also offer owners the option of its one-day V-Performance Lab. The one-day school will come to Lime Rock Park in Connecticut from Oct. 20 to Oct. 22, and Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas from Nov. 18 to Nov. 20.
